About me?
filmmaker and editor based in Utrecht, the Netherlands
filmmaker, editor and the occasional producer.
What else?
But I haven't always been a freelancer. I have worked for various companies throughout the years, and here are some of my favorite experiences:

Charlie’s Travels, Kenya
Film | Edit
This was one of my most exciting projects (and adventures) to date, and it's one of those experiences that I will always remember for being one of the best and craziest jobs that I have ever had the opportunity to do.
Charlie's Travel is a Dutch "off the beaten track" travel agency based in Eastern Africa. Its sole purpose is to bring a sense of adventure to its customers by using the opportunities presented by the surrounding locations.
To give an example of an experience I had over there, think about a safari. But instead of sitting in a car being chauffeured around, you have the chance for long hikes, motorcycle expeditions, and camping in the desert with the local tribes.
While working for this company, I had the opportunity to stay in Nairobi for over a year, filming and editing aftermovies, corporate videos, and creating social media content. These projects took place in various African countries, including Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and of course, Kenya.

University of Stirling, Scotland
Videographer | Digital media producer
One of the reasons I chose to work in Scotland was that I felt it was time to start working closer to home, but I wasn't quite ready to fully head back to the Netherlands yet.
I decided to work for the University of Stirling as a "Digital Media Producer." The University was a great place to work, creating new types of videos for a diverse audience with over 100 nationalities.
I was given the task of creating media content aimed at enticing international students to consider studying in Scotland. This was a super fun concept for a media creator, knowing that your content would reach such a wide variety of audiences.
